About This Role
We are seeking three bilingual Process Documentation Specialists based in Costa Rica to support documentation efforts across multiple business functions. These professionals will be responsible for reviewing, creating, updating, and managing process documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance across the organization. This role is critical in supporting operational excellence and regulatory alignment.
What You Will Work On
Document Review & Change Management
  • Review existing documents to understand content and scope of changes.
  • Apply clerical updates (e.g., franchise name changes) and incorporate significant procedural updates.
  • Highlight and track changes using references to current and revised procedures.
Document Creation & Maintenance
  • Develop, write, and publish new documentation including SOPs, process maps, training guides, and work instructions.
  • Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and aligned with internal standards and external regulations.
Process Analysis & Improvement
  • Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with process owners to document optimized procedures.
  • Document Management & Organization
  • Maintain organized, accessible, and version-controlled documentation repositories.
  • Ensure documents are up-to-date and compliant with quality and regulatory standards.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and clarify documentation requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure documentation meets user needs.
Training & Support
  • Support training initiatives by developing documentation and guiding users through new or updated processes.
Quality Assurance
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to documentation standards.
Continuous Learning
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and documentation tools and technologies.

What You Will Bring
  • Language: Fluent in Business English and Business Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Experience: 2–5 years in documentation, technical writing, or process improvement roles.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent writing and editing skills, and proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint, Confluence).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in regulated industries (e.g., manufacturing, pharma, logistics) and familiarity with quality systems and compliance standards.
