Process & Transfer Technician – Medical Devices - Alajuela, Alajuela, Costa Rica - 9302 - RGP

About This Role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and hands-on Process & Transfer Technician with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations in the medical device industry. This role is critical in supporting the successful transfer of products and processes, ensuring smooth production workflows, and maintaining high-quality standards. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to support cross-functional teams and global manufacturing operations.

What You Will Work On

Support the transfer of medical device manufacturing processes between sites or production lines.
Assist in the setup, validation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure process consistency and compliance.
Monitor and troubleshoot production processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Document process changes, deviations, and improvements in accordance with regulatory and quality standards.
Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures in both English and Spanish.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

What You Will Bring

Associate’s degree or technical certification in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
3+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing or process engineering.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end production process in a regulated environment.
Familiarity with process validation, equipment qualification, and documentation practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with process transfers in a regulated industry.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation tools.
