About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Segment Controller Consultant to step in for our client and provide leadership and stability. This is a highly visible role supporting a $2.5B division, responsible for leading the accounting team, driving process improvements, and ensuring a smooth and timely close process. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned manufacturing finance leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can drive results while building team morale.

This opportunity is primarily remote, but will require approximately 3 days/month to Raleigh, Philadelphia, and Chicago as needed. 
What You Will Work On
  • Lead a team of 20 (including 4 direct reports) through the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner closely with FP&A to provide insight and drive financial performance.
  • Identify and execute process improvements that enhance efficiency and controls.
  • Serve as the key finance leader, maintaining stability and direction through organizational change.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and operations teams to support decision-making.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Division Controller, Segment Controller, or Large Plant Controller.
  • Strong manufacturing background, with ability to navigate a high-volume, complex environment.
  • Expertise in Oracle and OneStream systems.
  • Ability to build relationships and operate as a peer with FP&A leadership.
  • Strength in leading teams through change- driving morale, engagement, and accountability.
  • Resilience, initiative, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
What You Can Expect

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $60-85/hour
