About This Role
Client is embarking on a global finance transformation to modernize their system of record, financial account structures, and reporting standards. They are seeking an accomplished Global Controller Consultant to play a pivotal role in driving this change.

This 18-month contract position partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Services, Product, and Enterprise Systems teams to ensure a seamless transition and deliver measurable improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This role will directly support the Global Controller team to ensure successful implementation. Role requires up to 3 days onsite in Chandler, AZ.

What You Will Work On
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and maintain accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate across multiple time zones to ensure consistent global execution.
  • Analyze income statement and balance sheet fluctuations to identify trends and variances.
  • Interpret financial statement data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with ERP and system implementation teams to align accounting processes with new technology.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to streamline close and reporting cycles.
  • Champion automation and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
What You Will Bring
  • CPA, highly preferred.
  • Public accounting experience (Big Four strongly preferred).
  • Experience with international close and consolidation, preferred.
  • Background in the technology or software industry, preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years in accounting/finance, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, and consolidation.
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proven leadership ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Strategic thinker with superior problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $85/hr - $105/hr
