About This Role
We are seeking two experienced General Ledger Consultants to support the migration of the Financial Systems Suite of a leading international bank from its Global Shared Services Center (SSC) to the Mexico operation.
This role is critical to ensuring a structured knowledge transfer, operational continuity, and full independence. The selected consultants will play a key role in the configuration, maintenance, stabilization, and continuous improvement of accounting and reporting systems, particularly within the Record to Report (R2R) process.
This position requires hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) implementations, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate in a global, multicultural environment.
What You Will Work On
Supporting the migration and transition of Financial Systems Suite operations from SSC to Mexico.
Training on configuration and functional maintenance of Full Suite and RegInsight under SSC supervision.
Executing configuration, testing, production releases, and functional support activities related to accounting modules.
Participating in all project phases:
Initial knowledge transfer and training.
Semi-independent execution under supervision.
Fully independent operation with remote support.
System stabilization and operational optimization.
Collaborating with international teams (including India) to resolve functional issues and ensure smooth operations.
Contributing to analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation activities for GL systems.
Monitoring deliverables, meeting deadlines, and reporting project progress.
What You Will Bring
7 years of experience implementing General Ledger systems.
Practical experience in at least two full Record to Report (R2R) implementations, particularly GL and Reporting modules.
Hands-on experience implementing financial modules in commercial ERPs.
Recent experience across the full project lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Configuration, Testing, Implementation).
Experience with GL implementations in banking environments (highly desirable).
Strong general accounting knowledge.
Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP (preferred).
Fluent English (written and spoken) for global collaboration.
Basic knowledge of Project Management and Waterfall methodology.
Education in Technology with accounting knowledge, or Accounting with ERP implementation experience.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and macros).
Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills (desirable).
