About This Role
The Solutions Partner is a strategic role responsible for developing, designing, and delivering customized consulting solutions that address the unique needs of RGP's clients, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background, deep expertise in project management, and a proven ability to craft innovative solutions across multiple domains, including finance, supply chain, risk management, and digital transformation. This role will work closely with internal teams to develop proposals, assemble high-performing teams, and ensure the successful execution of engagements from strategy to implementation. Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred, as this role supports opportunities related to Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical clients.
What You Will Work On
1. Solution Development & Client Engagement
  • Collaborate with Client Partners to assess client needs, identify opportunities, and architect tailored solutions that meet client business objectives, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
  • Lead solution ideation and development for complex client projects across multiple domains, including finance transformation, supply chain optimization, compliance, and digital transformation.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and objectives, ensuring solutions align with both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals. Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging industry insights and consulting expertise to deliver innovative, practical, and scalable solutions.
2. Pharmaceutical Expertise
  • Leverage a strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards, regulatory environments (e.g., FDA, EMA), and industry best practices.
  • Address unique challenges within the pharmaceutical landscape, including supply chain logistics, compliance, clinical development, and digital transformation.
  • Ensure that all solutions meet stringent regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly in the areas of risk management, clinical trial optimization, and operational excellence.
3. Proposal Development & Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Develop detailed client proposals and presentations, outlining project scope, methodology, staffing, and timeline.
  • Write clear and comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW), ensuring all deliverables, budgets, and timelines are well-defined.
  • Work with finance teams to structure pricing, payment terms, and assess the financial viability of projects to ensure profitability.
4. Project and Resource Management
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including defining project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
  • Assemble and manage cross-functional teams, including identifying and allocating the right talent from internal practice areas and talent management.
  • Ensure optimal resource utilization and maintain high-performance project delivery standards.
  • Partner with talent management and acquisition teams to ensure the right mix of skills for project success.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with practice leaders, industry strategists, and subject matter experts to design innovative, end-to-end solutions for clients.
  • Foster collaboration across finance, supply chain, risk management, and digital transformation teams to ensure solutions are both comprehensive and aligned with client objectives.
  • Ensure continuous alignment between internal and client teams, maintaining a consistent focus on quality, innovation, and compliance.
6. Risk Management & Compliance
  • Ensure all projects adhere to relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance standards, particularly in areas of clinical operations, data management, and supply chain integrity.
  • Proactively identify risks associated with solution delivery and craft mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, particularly within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across internal and client teams to drive future growth and success.
What You Will Bring
1. Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in fields such as Business, Consulting, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting, preferably at a leading consulting firm.
  • Pharmaceutical and life sciences industry experience is preferred, including knowledge of regulatory requirements, clinical trials, supply chain management, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in project management, resource planning, and leading complex client engagements.
2. Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in crafting solutions for consulting services in areas such as finance transformation, supply chain management, risk and compliance, digital transformation, and business technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management, including proposal development, delivery oversight, and achieving high client satisfaction.
  • Strong competency in project management and resource planning, with a focus on assembling high-performing teams to execute client projects.
  • Ability to draft detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage large-scale engagements, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to assess profitability, manage budgets, and forecast project outcomes.
3. Pharmaceutical & Consulting Expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory frameworks, supply chain logistics, clinical trial management, and risk management.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of complex solutions in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience working in advisory services, strategy development, and operational implementation, with a focus on delivering end-to-end solutions.
4. Leadership & Communication
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage, and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to present complex ideas to senior leadership and clients.
  • Experience crafting compelling PowerPoint presentations and delivering high-impact proposals to clients.
5. Technology & Digital Acumen
  • Familiarity with digital transformation technologies, including data analytics, cloud solutions, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
  • Proficiency in modern project management tools (e.g., Agile, Smartsheet) and methodologies for managing large-scale digital projects.
