About This Role
We are so exited to share a new opportunity located in Monterrey Metropolitan Area for a Manufacturing Client looking for a Senior Accountant.

The candidates will support all activities related to End-Month Accounting Close, the submission of Financial Statements and some ad-dock reporting and overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. The Senior Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Tax, Operations, and Audit, and serves as a resource for financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.

This is an opportunity project length of 2 Months however, with the intention from the client to make a direct offer to the Consultant and hire directly.

What You Will Work On
As a Sr Accountant Consultant, you will support the client’s accounting operations by applying your expertise in local and international accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and local regulations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, posting journal entries and adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate and participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare documentation and support for external and internal audits.
• Prepare and review tax accruals, payments, and related journal entries. (including payroll, social security, and local/state taxes).
• Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and support corporate tax matters
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support budgeting and strategic planning.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


What You Will Bring
The candidates should observe-

• Proven accounting, Finance, & Tax experience.
• Minimum 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or services.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (GAAP/IFRS).
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
