About This Role
Responsible for ensuring that RGP receives payments from clients as close to contracted terms as possible. The duties include monitoring the respective AR Aging to identify outstanding balances that are coming due, contacting customers or business partners to notify them of overdue payments, and working to resolve any issues, and documenting all collection activities. 
What You Will Work On
  • Client follow up on past due invoices, ensuring full coverage on the assigned portfolio.
  • Answer customer questions regarding statements or outstanding balances.
  • Document all actions taken to resolve receivables to payment.
  • Assign tasks within accounting system for all follow-up actions.
  • Assess receivables, identifying potential issues and coordinating resolution, following the documented Accounts Receivable Escalation Path.
  • Communicate potential issues to the Business Operations and Revenue Teams, requesting assistance for resolution.
  • Reconcile discrepancies with Vendor Management System (VMS) data and RGP data.
  • Providing periodic statements to client to supplement collection activities, updating the status on all past due receivables
  • Review the A/R aging with the Sales team and monitoring their clients’ A/R balances on an on-going basis.
  • Support monthly calls with the Market Leaders to review problematic accounts.
  • Maintain an acceptable Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimizing the write offs of uncollected accounts.
  • Identify at-risk items and raising to the Collection Manager to ensure they are included on the Watchlist and quarterly reserve if appropriate.
  • Evaluate credit worthiness of new clients, providing a credit review, and recommendation to the Business Operations Team.
What You Will Bring
  • High School Diploma; Some college-level coursework preferred
  • 1 + years of collections or customer service experience
  • Proficent MS Excel Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional environment
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
What You Can Expect
  • All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors, including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
  • Base Pay Range: $50,400 – $63,000
  • Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation
