About This Role
RGP is seeking a Senior Manager, Workday Financials to join our growing Enterprise Applications IT team at the corporate office in Irvine, CA. Working closely with RGP’s finance leaders, IT teams, and business users, you will be responsible for supporting the strategy, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Financials within the organization. The Senior Manager, Workday Financials, will manage system configuration, design, reporting, and support activities related to all Workday Finance modules to ensure alignment with the organizational goals. You will be a valued member of the business by gaining a solid understanding of our business processes, knowledge of the organizational structure and culture, and building relationships with stakeholders throughout the company.

Base Pay Range: $151,000 - $189,000
Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation
What You Will Work On
  • Overall ownership for the ongoing design, deployment, and maintenance of the Workday Finance and PSA, and Retain Resource Management.
  • Serve as the IT partner supporting Finance areas in Workday, including FP&A Reporting, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, etc.
  • Lead the Workday support team, ensuring day-to-day systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects.
  • Manage multiple in-flight projects that have different timelines and may utilize different solutions.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of system modifications and enhancements. Drive the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance, ensuring requirements are met.
  • Accountability for data quality, governance, security, and compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify, validate, and test business process and configuration changes related to business changes, issues, or process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and controls. Ensure up-to-date documentation of system functions, processes, and capabilities.

What You Will Bring
REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance and Professional Services Automation system management.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday Finance experience, with demonstrated experience leading and managing projects of significant scope.
  • Strong proficiency in a minimum of 2-3 Workday Finance tracks; e.g., Professional Services Automation (PSA), Procurement, Expenses, Asset Management, Reporting, Financial Accounting, Foundational Data Modeling (FDM), Banking & Settlement.
  • A 'hands-on' leader/driver with a strong background in managing a complex enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of Finance operations and experience in Finance data management and reporting.
  • Project planning, management, risk monitoring and mitigation.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages with all levels in the organization, including breaking down complex topics for target audiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
PREFERRED
  • Workday certification(s) in Workday Finance preferred.
  • Experience with Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), Calculated Fields, and Report Writer.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
