About This Role
RGP is looking for a skilled and motivated Workday Finance Business Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications IT team. You will support the ongoing development of our Workday environment and other finance systems. This role involves documenting business and finance requirements, configuring Workday, managing integrations and security, and implementing new functionalities to enhance operational processes.

What You Will Work On
  • Collaborate with the Workday Finance Director, business users, and managers to define project scope and prioritize feature backlogs.
  • Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for Workday and related Finance systems, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize work and track progress.
  • Provide expertise in Workday processes and integrations with systems like Salesforce, Prism, Adaptive, and Active Directory.
  • Work with Finance, Accounting, and other departments to gather requirements and propose scalable solutions that optimize system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and develop long-term solutions to improve system performance.
  • Perform regular system audits, review results, and assist users in correcting identified discrepancies.
  • Support bi-annual Workday releases, providing product demonstrations, training, and feature deployment for users.
  • Document business requirements, training materials, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, managing UAT for system changes.
  • Oversee all phases of the software development life cycle, from backlog prioritization to requirement gathering, development, testing, and post-launch support.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on system enhancements and problem resolutions.
  • Produce detailed documentation, including user stories, process maps, system diagrams, and data models for analysis and project planning.
  • Lead configuration testing efforts and support the integration of Workday with other business applications.


What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with Workday Financials implementation, configuration, and management.
  • Expertise in Workday Financials areas such as Professional Services Automation, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Banking and Settlement, and Core Accounting.
  • Experience with Workday Security, integrations, and supporting systems like Adaptive, Salesforce, and Prism.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose scalable solutions.
  • Self-starter who can work independently under pressure and navigate ambiguous situations effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, Planning, and related processes within Workday.
  • Proficiency in advanced reporting and Workday functionality to support complex business requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities with a strong focus on delivery and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to document business processes, functional requirements, and test plans thoroughly.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to UAT and ensure smooth deployment of new features.
What You Can Expect
  • Base Pay Range: ​$90,000 - $130,000
  • Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation  
  • All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors.
