About This Role
We are seeking an experienced interim Endpoint & Intune Engineer for a consulting engagement at a global technology client focused on modern workplace transformation, endpoint security, and cloud-first device management. This role will participate in the design, implementation, and optimization of a modern, cloud-first endpoint management ecosystem within an enterprise environment, supporting a large-scale enterprise user base. The consultant will work closely with client IT leadership, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions leveraging Microsoft Intune for device lifecycle management, within a Google workspace environment. The consultant will optimize and enhance an existing Intune/Autopilot setup to deliver a seamless, “out-of-the-box” user experience—from device unboxing to secure, ready-to-use desktop access.

This is a remote role, with an initial duration of 6 months.  
Rate: $65-$85/hr. on a W-2 basis, dependent on experience
What You Will Work On
  • Device Management & Configuration: Improve and maintain Intune-based Windows device management, ensuring smooth enrollment and compliance.
  • Application Packaging & Deployment: Package, deploy, and configure a large set of applications over the coming months, ensuring availability and functionality through Intune.
  • Identity & Access Integration: Work with Entra ID for authentication and Okta for identity management, ensuring secure and efficient access.
  • User Experience Optimization: Streamline workflows so users can easily connect to Wi-Fi, authenticate, and access a fully configured desktop experience.  
  • Process & Automation: Enable self-service and automated provisioning (e.g., via ServiceNow requests, security group assignments, and Intune app availability).

What You Will Bring
  • 8+ years of endpoint engineering experience, including end-to-end ownership of device management/application deployment using Intune
  • Tech industry experience preferred
  • Hands-on Microsoft Intune and Autopilot implementation experience
  • Application packaging and deployment at scale, demonstrated ability to deploy complex applications and navigate through technical challenges and solutions
  • Experience in greenfield or rebuild environments
  • Experience managing and deploying applications to BYOD devices and enforcing appropriate security policies
