About This Role
RGP has a Major Life Insurance Client looking for an Interim Manager to fill in for an employee on leave for approximately 6-9 months. The role requires running and coordinating the Financial Close process for a team of GAAP and Statutory Reporting and Life Insurance Blue Book professionals. 
What You Will Work On
Responsibilities include: 
  •  running the Financial Close process for GAAP, STAT / Life Insurance Blue Book for a team of 10-15.
  • coordination with Actuarial, Investments, FP&A and Operations teams.
  • ensuring on-track and on-time Reporting and Close deliverables, 
  • supporting ongoing Ad Hoc projects that need to be coordinated for resource management purposes
What You Will Bring
You will bring:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or Other Advanced Degree in a related discipline such as Accounting or Finance.
  • a Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting (GAAP, Statutory and Life Insurance Blue Book including 
  • a minimum of 5 years working in Accounting and Reporting functions within large Life Insurance Companies.
  • Excellent Collaboration and Communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-directed to meet deadlines.
  • High Quality Work
  • Strong Technology Skills - Excel, Data Analysis, GL and Financial Reporting Software

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE AND LONG-TERM  
  • IDEAL HOURLY PAY RATE RANGE: $75-90 per hour.
