Senior Financial Analyst - Consolidations - Oakville, Ontario, Canada - 7789 - RGP

About This Role

The Lead Analyst will support business unit leaders and Senior Management in strategic and tactical decision-making. This role involves supporting budgeting and planning, forecasting and reporting process, conducting financial analysis, and providing financial modeling support and scenario analysis. This high-impact, visible role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in enterprise-wide information flow and participate in strategic corporate finance decisions, as well as helping to support reporting and ad hoc analysis for the Regulated Utility Business (Water, Gas, Electric).

What You Will Work On

Implement financial systems and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors, senior management, and key stakeholders.
Support the development of financial reporting tools and dashboards in SAP Analytical Cloud.
Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and present findings to senior leadership.
Participate in budgeting processes and ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
Analyze the financial impact of strategic initiatives, investments, and financing structures.
Develop and maintain corporate and utility-level financial models.
Manage the annual five-year planning process and monthly forecasting cycles.

What You Will Bring

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
CPA, CFA, MBA, or other relevant financial designations (preferred).
Experience with SAP, HFM, SAC, or other financial planning systems.
Strong financial modeling skills, including driver-based three-statement modeling.
6+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
