About This Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst/Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This role offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting while contributing directly to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The successful candidate will play an active role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with established policies, and assisting in the preparation of key financial reporting.

  • Prepare and post routine journal entries with proper supporting documentation.
  • Assist with account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules.
  • Maintain organized records to support audits and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance colleagues on process improvements and special projects.
What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent coursework/experience).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems. Must have Oracle, Oracle EBS is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
What You Can Expect
  • This role is fully remote; however, you must reside in California. There is no relocation assistance. 3-month contract with opportunity to go perm based on workload and performance.
  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $35-$40/hr (DOE)
