About This Role
We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to support our client’s corporate accounting function during a major ERP transformation from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion. This is a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and a smooth month-end close process while helping modernize the team’s processes. Reporting to senior leadership, this position will partner with our Shared Service Center.
What You Will Work On
  • Oversee the accounting function to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. 
  • Review financial statements and reports, identifies discrepancies, and implements corrective actions as needed. 
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and attention to detail by supervising a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and ensure the integrity of financial operations
  • Oversee and review month-end close processes, ensuring journal entries and account reconciliations are accurate and completed on time.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, using FCCS.
  • Partner with Shared Service Center teams to review reconciliations, approvals, and journal entries.
  • Support ongoing ERP implementation (EBS to Fusion) and consolidation activities, including resolving legacy system and reporting challenges.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or related field required
  • CPA or equivalent accounting designation is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion is required
  • Strong corporate accounting experience with proven success driving the close process and preparing consolidated financial statements.
  • Ability to perform ad hoc reporting and work with intercompany reconciliations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP and consolidation systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and support transition challenges.
  • Solid technical accounting skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across Shared Services and corporate leadership.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful but not required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
  • Willing to go onsite in Tinley Park hybrid up to 3 days/week
