About This Role
As an Internal Auditor for Operational Audit and SOX/Internal Controls, you will ensure the effectiveness of business processes through comprehensive audits and risk assessments. You will execute audit plans, test SOX controls, document findings, and collaborate with departments to ensure compliance and improve controls. Your role includes providing recommendations, developing audit programs, and staying updated on best practices.
What You Will Work On
  • Conduct operational audits to evaluate business processes, risk management, and compliance with company policies.
  • Perform risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in internal controls.
  • Execute audit plans, including testing of SOX controls and internal control frameworks.
  • Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal control standards.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing internal controls and mitigating risks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of audit programs and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CIA, or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, with a focus on operational audits and SOX/internal controls testing.
  • Strong understanding of SOX regulations and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
