About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support financial systems and operational processes for our client. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver solutions that drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency. This is an onsite role and requires the consultant to work onsite in Torrance, CA at least 4 days/week.

Pay range: $30-40/hour
What You Will Work On
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements for financial systems and operational processes.
  • Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement system enhancements or new solutions.
  • Develop process flow diagrams, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support deployment activities.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for business performance monitoring.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years as a Business Analyst in financial services or related industry.
  • Strong proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with automotive finance or captive finance organizations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is preferred.
