About This Role
This role supports tax compliance and reporting for private equity and real estate funds within a global investment platform. You will contribute to a tax function that manages complex U.S. and international structures, collaborating with internal teams, tax service providers, and cross border partners. The role is well suited for someone who enjoys analytical problem solving, detailed technical work, and driving improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Rate: $75-90/hr DOE
What You Will Work On
  • Prepare book to tax reconciliations, estimated tax payments, and tax/waterfall allocations for fund and management company entities.
  • Track partnership and partner tax basis and support GP carry and promote calculations.
  • Review workpapers, prepare schedule K 1s, and returns, including analyses of promote allocations, UBTI, FDAP, ECI, and book to tax differences.
  • Prepare or review partnership projections and allocations to support estimated payments for investors and GP partners.
  • Partner with tax leadership to enhance and improve compliance procedures across private equity and real asset business segments.

What You Will Bring
  • At least five years of tax accounting experience focused on private equity or real estate funds.
  • Interest in developing experience with private equity and real asset funds (with blocked/unblocked and FIRPTA investments).
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax rules relating to fund structures, including withholding, reporting forms, and international compliance frameworks.
  • Experience from a Big 4 firm and/or in house experience with an established fund manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; MST preferred; CPA strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and commonly used tax platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to fully own deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, and execute work in a fast moving, deadline driven environment.
