About This Role
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the Controllership team for a global entertainment studio. This consultant will maintain stability across month‑end close, GL operations, and international consolidated reporting. This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on Senior Financial Accountant / Manager‑level accountant with entertainment industry experience and strong SAP capability.

Ability to work onsite 4 days per week (Monday thru Thursday) in San Fernando Valley Area, CA 91604– some flexibility available

Duration: 9+ months (with potential extension)

Pay Rate Range $60/hr-$75/hr
What You Will Work On
  • Lead monthly/quarterly close
  • Prepare/review/post journal entries (rev/exp accruals, true‑ups, etc.)
  • Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Review submissions for accuracy and follow up on unusual shifts or missing data
  • Assist with consolidated packages for Controllership & FP&A
  • Perform detailed P&L and balance sheet variance analysis
  • Communicate key drivers to leadership and partner with global teams to resolve issues
  • Support Controllership initiatives and process improvements
  • May assist with SAP S/4HANA UAT, testing, and data validation

What You Will Bring
  • 7–10+ years hands-on accounting experience
  • SAP experience/expertise required
  • Entertainment studio experience, highly preferred
  • Strong month-end close, JE prep/review, reconciliations & consolidated reporting
  • Advanced variance analysis skills
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP & internal controls
  • Ability to operate independently and review work of others
