About This Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our finance team across accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on in a dynamic environment, is comfortable with automation tools, and can thrive with minimal oversight. You will play a key role in managing collections, supporting vendor processes, and contributing to financial accuracy and efficiency. This is a 3 to 4 month contract role with up to 3 days Onsite - Hybrid work model. There is no C2C, 1099, 3rd party or H1-B sponsorship available.
What You Will Work On
  • Manage hands-on accounts receivable collections, ensuring timely follow-up with customers.
  • Leverage AR automation tools to streamline collections and reporting processes.
  • Support accounts payable operations, including invoice coding, reconciliations, and vendor inquiries.
  • Partner with and report directly to the Automation Controller on accounting processes and improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for both AR and AP transactions.
  • Generate reports and analysis using Excel to support financial decision-making.
  • Adapt to evolving processes and systems within a transitioning environment.
What You Will Bring
  • Strong, hands-on accounts receivable collections experience with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Familiarity with AR automation processes and tools.
  • Experience with day-to-day accounts payable tasks, including coding, reconciliations, and vendor support.
  • Strong Excel skills: ERP experience preferred (JobBoss familiarity is a plus).
  • Prior exposure to the manufacturing industry preferred but not required.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mindset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support a growing and transitioning environment.


What You Can Expect
  • This is a Hybrid role with up to 3 days onsite/per week.
  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors. 
  • 3-4 month contract role. 
  • Pay Range: $20/hr - $23/hr
