About This Role
We are seeking a Finance Director Consultant to join a small but dynamic finance team at a local commercial bank. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will provide analytical, operational, and strategic support during a key transition period.

This role is suited for a hands-on finance professional who can manage budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis while contributing to the bank’s broader capital and strategic planning. You’ll collaborate closely with the CFO, Controller, and CEO to ensure the finance function runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You Will Work On
  • Assist the CFO with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial models to analyze performance and trends.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports with actionable insights for leadership.
  • Support capital planning, scenario analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Provide backup support for finance operations and help streamline workflows.
  • Contribute to the bank’s strategic and operational initiatives with a problem-solving mindset.





What You Will Bring
  • 5–8 years of finance, FP&A, or accounting experience; prior experience in commercial banking preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills; able to translate data into insights.
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • CPA or MBA a plus, but not required.

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $80-85hr.
