About This Role
RGP is seeking a strategic, hands-on Lead Design Manager to oversee and grow a multidisciplinary consulting team. This team currently includes over 24 Product Designers, Content Designers, and Service Designers supporting digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned design leader with a strong consulting mindset, capable of nurturing talent, delivering high-quality outcomes, and expanding client relationships to drive continued growth.
What You Will Work On
Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of RGP consultants across product, content, and service design disciplines.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-impact team culture.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support.
  • Identify skill gaps and lead recruitment efforts to scale the team in alignment with client needs.
Client Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary liaison between RGP and design and business leadership.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across product, technology, and strategy teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand RGP’s footprint by demonstrating value and anticipating future needs.
  • Lead strategic conversations around design maturity, team capabilities, and innovation opportunities.

Design Delivery & Oversight
  • Oversee the execution of design work across multiple squads and initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and user-centricity in all deliverables.
  • Guide integration of product, content, and service design into cohesive customer experiences.
  • Lead design reviews and provide hands-on support for high-impact projects.

Operational Excellence
  • Manage team resourcing, onboarding, and project assignments.
  • Monitor delivery timelines, performance metrics, and client satisfaction.
  • Optimize workflows, tools, and collaboration models to improve efficiency and impact.
  • Support internal RGP reporting and engagement health tracking.
What You Will Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in digital design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or consulting role.
  • Proven success managing multidisciplinary design teams in client-facing environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design leadership and hands-on expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of design systems, UX/UI, content strategy, and service design.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business development skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Experience in financial services or enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
