About This Role
SEC Reporting Consultant is focused on internal financial reporting, with some technical accounting, and ad hoc projects. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing and analyzing the company's external consolidated financial statements, MD&A and footnotes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.  On-site 5 days in Los Angeles (South Bay area), CA.
What You Will Work On
  • Solid experience in reporting requirements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Monitor and research FASB to identify potential rule changes that may impact the company and prepares memos summarizing impact to the company.
  • Prepare and assist in the review consolidated financial statements and footnotes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and any other applicable regulations.
  • Assist with preparation and review of other materials that include financial statement data.
  • Ensure creation of auditable support with clear documentation.
  • Manage financial reporting to key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.
  • Document and update the company’s key accounting policies.

What You Will Bring
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, with a mix of public accounting and financial reporting experience in a large publicly traded organization.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Effectively communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $75/hr-$90/hr
