About This Role

This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of the organization’s financial systems. The Financial Systems Specialist will ensure that all ledger processes, data flows, and system configurations operate seamlessly to support financial reporting, compliance, and transformation initiatives. The position bridges the gap between Finance, Business, and Technology, ensuring that system functionality aligns with operational and accounting standards.

What You Will Work On

Managing end-to-end ledger processes, including setup, data loads, reconciliations, and outbound data integration.
Coordinating with Technology teams to address issues, test enhancements, and manage production support.
Supporting Finance and Business in defining functional requirements and translating them into technical configurations.
Contributing to financial system transformation and migration projects, ensuring alignment with accounting policies and regulatory standards.
Monitoring data quality and flow between upstream, ledger, and downstream systems.
Participating in process re-engineering initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control across financial operations.
Preparing clear documentation and ensuring effective stakeholder communication across teams.

What You Will Bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance
English is a Must
6 years of experience with SAP or Oracle environments.
6 years of experience proven experience managing or supporting ledger and reporting systems in financial environments.
Solid understanding of accounting standards (MX GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to analyze large data sets and present insights effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across Finance, Technology, and Operations.
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Desirable: Experience with data integration, databases, or process automation.
