About This Role
We are seeking a highly capable Financial Systems Consultant to support the migration of the Financial Systems Suite of a leading from a Global Shared Services Center (SSC) to the Mexico operation.
The objective is to achieve full operational independence, ensuring continuity, system stabilization, and knowledge transfer.
What You Will Work On
  • Participate in the end-to-end migration and stabilization of the Financial Systems Suite transitioning ownership from SSC to Mexico operations.
  • Train on system configuration and maintenance under the guidance of the SSC team, progressing to independent execution.
  • Execute tasks related to configuration, functional design, testing, deployment, and maintenance of accounting modules, particularly General Ledger (GL).
  • Support the delivery of Record-to-Report processes through two full-cycle implementations with focus on GL and reporting.

Participate across the following phases:
  • Initial training with SSC team
  • Semi-independent work under supervision
  • Independent execution with remote support
  • System stabilization
  • Collaborate with global and multicultural teams, including international stakeholders (e.g., India), to resolve issues and ensure operational readiness.
  • Meet established deadlines, provide progress updates, and support documentation and reporting requirements.
What You Will Bring
  • 5–7 years of experience implementing General Ledger systems in commercial ERPs, with recent project implementation involvement (analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation).
  • Practical experience in Record-to-Report processes, with at least two full implementations.
  • Experience supporting or implementing GL for banking environments (desirable).
  • General accounting knowledge, ideally aligned with IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros) and advanced skills in Word and PowerPoint (desirable).
  • Familiarity with database management, data analysis, and process re-engineering.
  • Fluent English communication (written and spoken) for global interactions.
  • Basic understanding of Project Management and Waterfall methodology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology with accounting exposure, or in Accounting with ERP implementation experience.
