About This Role
We are a global consulting firm that support needs from our clients through different projects.  

We are seeking an analytical LATAM FP&A Specialist Consultant to support financial performance management, profitability analysis, and operational finance activities across seven countries in the Chemicals segment.

This role operates as a finance business partner, driving financial visibility, supporting strategic decision-making, and strengthening financial governance through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

Given the regional exposure and operational proximity required, this engagement is fully on-site in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico. This is a 10 months project with posibilities to extend through 2027

We are open to consider candidates outside Villahermosa but they will be willing to move to the zone and cover themselves with the expenses
What You Will Work On
Key Responsibilities that our consultant should attend:

Financial Analysis & Business Performance

Perform project profitability analysis and product profitability assessments across LATAM markets.

Analyze financial performance and cost variations across seven LATAM countries.

Monitor and analyze CAPEX execution versus approved annual plans.

Support the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

Track revenue accrual conversions into invoiced revenue with operational and commercial teams.

Reporting & Financial Operations

Consolidate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.

Ensure accurate financial reporting and cost allocation across business units.

Analyze average cost variations and financial drivers impacting regional performance.

Propose accrual entries and financial adjustments when required.

Accounting & Process Excellence

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting accuracy and compliance.

Support internal and external audit processes.

Monitor purchase order processes to ensure timely cost recognition, inventory accuracy, and expense tracking.

Identify process inefficiencies in financial data generation and propose improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, General Accounting, Budgeting, or FP&A roles.

Strong expertise in:

Financial analysis and profitability modeling

Budgeting and forecasting processes

CAPEX monitoring and financial performance tracking

Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling and analysis).

Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or JD Edwards.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Professional English proficiency (required).
