About This Role
RGP is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our fast-growing ServiceNow Practice team. The resource will be responsible for the successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions and services, in a client consulting environment. Senior Project Managers lead complex, multi-workstream enterprise implementations and ensure delivery excellence through disciplined governance, stakeholder alignment, and execution oversight.
What You Will Work On
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible to lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations across functional and technical workstreams. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Lead detailed project planning including scope definition, scheduling, milestone planning, and dependency management.
  • Establish and maintain governance cadence including status reporting, RAID logs, sprint reviews, and executive updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including Solution Architects, Business Process Consultants, and Technical Leads.
  • Manage risk identification, mitigation planning, and proactive issue resolution throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Track financial performance at the project level including burn rate, forecasting, and budget adherence.
  • Support scope management and change control processes in partnership with practice leadership.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment workshops, milestone acceptance sessions, and go-live readiness planning.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow implementation best practices and agreed delivery methodology (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall).
  • Coordinate testing, UAT, cutover planning, and transition to hypercare or managed services where applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvement of delivery standards, documentation, and governance processes within the Practice.
What You Will Bring
  • 8+ years of project management experience in enterprise technology implementations.
  • 4+ years leading ServiceNow implementations in a client consulting environment.
  • Experience managing multi-workstream and multi-module implementations (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience managing distributed and offshore delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing large-scale project budgets and forecasting financial performance.
  • Experience using ServiceNow's Now Create methodology to structure and govern implementation engagements.
  • Experience preparing and delivering executive-level project briefings.
  • Ability to translate complex delivery issues into clear business impact statements and recommended actions for senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying and documenting scope changes, assessing commercial impact, and partnering with practice leadership to execute change orders in a consulting/professional services context.
  • Understanding of statement of work (SOW) structures and the ability to manage delivery within contracted boundaries while identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt project governance and reporting cadence to the client's preferred methodology, whether Agile, waterfall, or hybrid, without sacrificing delivery discipline.
  • Experience facilitating or participating in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming) in the context of a platform implementation.
  • Experience establishing and enforcing quality gates at key delivery milestones, including design sign-off, build completion, UAT entry/exit, and go-live readiness.
  • Proven ability to maintain a forward-looking risk posture — identifying and escalating risks before they become issues rather than managing reactively.
  • Experience managing hypercare periods including defect triage and structured handoff to client support teams or managed services.
  • Ability to conduct post-implementation reviews and translate lessons learned into repeatable delivery improvements for the practice.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred certifications include PMP, ITIL, SAFe or PMI-ACP, and ServiceNow CSA.

Consulting Skills:
  • Proven team player and team builder.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around key delivery decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain information in an articulate manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined execution mindset.
  • Ability to understand and interpret business needs and identify appropriate delivery solutions to meet those needs.
  • Proven record of successfully managing business relationships.
What You Can Expect
  • An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart.
  • Compensation range: $150,000 - $175,000
  • Compensation commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and other factors, including geographic location, market and operational factors.
  • Total Rewards based on eligibility include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required).
