About This Role
We are very pleased sharing a Tax request to attend for a very well know Bank Company. Candidate have to have solid experience in Mexican tax law, tax process transformation impacting the ERPs, and leadership skills to design and govern operational definitions, controls, and automation of tax compliance in Mexico.

Hiring by Project with length of 7 Month and potential extension.

 
What You Will Work On
Working with Client's IT areas and others directed impacted in the transformation and automation Tax Processes: Requirements gathering, business rules, definition of preventive/detective controls, automation of calculations, validations to the ERP to ensure the proper results and reporting.
What You Will Bring
• 10 to 15+ years of total professional experience.

• At least 7 years in tax, tax compliance, tax audit, or fiscal governance roles in Mexico.

• At least 3 years leading initiatives to redesign, improve, or automate tax processes.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams with IT, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Audit, and business areas.

• Experience in banks, financial groups, large insurance companies, or leading firms focused on financial services is desirable.

Expected Technical Knowledge

Transformation and Automation: Requirements gathering, business rules, definition of preventive/detective controls, automation of calculations, validations, evidence, and auditable reports.
Mexican Tax Legislation: Functional mastery of the Federal Tax Code (CFF), Income Tax (ISR), Value Added Tax (IVA), and withholding taxes, including corresponding tax returns, formal obligations, supporting documentation, and evidence retention criteria. Electronic Accounting: Operational understanding of electronic accounting, catalogs, journal entries, XML files, CFDI (electronic invoices), and document validations related to traceability and tax compliance.
CFDI / Reconciliation: Ability to design and validate reconciliations between accounting, operational, and tax information; identification of discrepancies and control points.
Relationship with the CNBV (National Banking and Securities Commission): Understanding of the banking regulatory environment and the coordination mechanisms required to ensure consistency between tax compliance and regulatory or supervisory requirements.
