About This Role
We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Solutions Architect to support a strategic SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) expansion initiative. This role combines solution architecture, technical leadership, and program delivery responsibilities, requiring a professional who can define scalable technical solutions while driving execution across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP IBP, enterprise integrations, and complex technology ecosystems, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical execution. This individual will play a critical role in shaping architecture decisions, coordinating stakeholders, supporting delivery teams, and ensuring the successful implementation and stabilization of enterprise planning solutions.

This position requires a proactive and self-directed professional who can operate effectively in ambiguous environments, challenge inefficiencies, and lead cross-functional teams toward successful outcomes.

What You Will Work On
  • Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP IBP expansion initiatives and related enterprise planning platforms.
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable integration architectures between SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • Evaluate architectural trade-offs and recommend technical solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with long-term technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop architecture artifacts, integration designs, process flows, and technical documentation.
  • SAP IBP & Enterprise Integration
  • Lead the expansion and optimization of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) capabilities across the organization.
  • Design and oversee integrations between SAP IBP and external platforms, data sources, middleware solutions, and enterprise applications.
  • Support planning transformation initiatives involving supply chain, finance, operations, and forecasting processes.
  • Assess and implement best practices for enterprise planning solutions and emerging planning technologies.
  • Program Delivery & Execution
  • Drive technical delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams while ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Program Managers, and business stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers, proactively developing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead recovery efforts for delayed, at-risk, or underperforming initiatives.
  • Coordinate technical teams to ensure successful execution from design through deployment and stabilization.
  • Release Management & Environment Governance
  • Define and support release management processes, deployment governance, and environment strategies.
  • Ensure that production releases follow approved change management procedures and minimize business disruption.
  • Establish controls for deployment readiness, testing validation, rollback planning, and release approvals.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to deployment efficiency and operational stability.
  • Agile Delivery & Engineering Excellence
  • Promote Agile methodologies, MVP-driven delivery approaches, and iterative solution development.
  • Guide teams on software engineering best practices, coding standards, quality assurance, and technical governance.
  • Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve solution quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership
  • Partner with executive stakeholders, including senior business leaders and functional owners, to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Facilitate communication across architecture, engineering, product, operations, and business teams.
  • Mentor technical team members and contribute to the development of technical capabilities and architectural standards.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Technical Leadership, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing integrations between SAP and non-SAP platforms.
  • Strong background in enterprise application architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex enterprise implementations, transformations, or stabilization initiatives.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities, including stakeholder management, risk mitigation, dependency management, and delivery oversight.
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within large enterprise environments.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Technical Expertise
  • SAP IBP architecture, implementation, and optimization.
  • Enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and service-oriented architectures.
  • Solution design methodologies and architecture frameworks.
  • Cloud-based architectures and enterprise platforms.
  • Release management and deployment governance.
  • Agile delivery frameworks and product-centric development models.
  • CI/CD pipelines, automation practices, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Process mapping, business analysis, and requirements translation.
  • Azure DevOps (ADO) or comparable delivery and development lifecycle tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Solutions or other Integrated Business Planning (IBP) platforms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
  • Exposure to supply chain planning, forecasting, operations planning, or financial planning environments.
  • Experience establishing technical governance and architecture review processes.
  • Experience mentoring architects, engineers, or technical teams.
