About This Role
Our client is looking for an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Lead / Lead OIC-Oracle ERP Solution Architect to lead the design, build, deployment, stabilization, and ongoing production support of the client's Oracle Cloud integration landscape. This role is expected to be a hands-on technical lead who can own Oracle ERP Cloud integrations end-to-end, partner with business and IT stakeholders, direct onshore/offshore delivery teams, and serve as the primary escalation point for OIC-related issues, changes, and operational readiness. Reporting into the Sr. Director of IT Finance, the OIC Lead is a critical role that partners with Finance, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure and Operations, Security, functional process owners, external systems integrators, and managed-service partners to support and continuously improve our client's Oracle Cloud and NGF integration environment.

Hourly Rate: $90-$100/hr. W2

Client is open to remote work, but strongly prefers candidates available to sit on-site in El Segundo, CA.
What You Will Work On
  • Act as the technical lead and solution architect for Oracle Integration Cloud across Oracle ERP
  • Cloud, Oracle EPM, on-premise platforms, databases, and third-party SaaS applications.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for OIC integrations, including requirements analysis, solution design, technical specification review, build oversight, code/configuration review, testing, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and production support.
  • Lead the OIC integrations team across onshore and offshore resources, including daily handoffs, priority setting, issue triage, task assignment, status tracking, and escalation management.
  • Design and guide integration patterns using OIC adapters, REST/SOAP services, scheduled orchestrations, business events, FBDI, BI Publisher, BICC extracts, file/SFTP patterns, database connectivity, DBCS, and secure connectivity to on-premise systems such as IBM iSeries / DB2.
  • Take ownership of client-built and partner-built integrations, including R2R, P2R, AP, AR, intercompany, payments, banking, customer, vendor, HighRadius, Project Commitment, PRP1,
  • Coupa/AIC, and other Finance and enterprise integration flows.
  • Drive execution of OIC business event, scheduling, re-migration, cutover, and environment promotion activities across development, test, and production environments.
  • Perform and coordinate 4-eye reviews, post-implementation validations, deployment sign-offs, and object-level verification to confirm that OIC objects, schedules, integrations, connections, and dependent components are migrated and operating correctly.
  • Lead production support for OIC-related interfaces, Oracle ESS jobs, batch processing, and interface error resolution, including daily batch/interface health reporting for AP, AR, intercompany, banking, customers, vendors, and related Finance processes.
  • Serve as the escalation point for OIC incidents, P1/P2 service interruptions, recurring interface failures, and production defects; drive root-cause analysis, service owner approvals, preventive action plans, and closure of problem records.
  • Manage ServiceNow change, incident, problem, and service request processes for OIC, including expedited change approvals, production change documentation, post-implementation tasks,  aging SCTASKs/incidents, and change calendar readiness.
  • Partner with Infrastructure and Operations, Security, UAM, database, network, and application teams to manage OIC, DB, ERP, and production access approvals; ensure least-privilege access, audit readiness, and secure integration connectivity.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Oracle ERP functional teams, Finance business users, systems integrators, HCL/managed-service partners, and external vendors to resolve cross platform integration issues and align technical decisions with the client's standards.
  • Create and maintain integration design documentation, cutover runbooks, deployment checklists, support playbooks, monitoring/error-handling standards, dashboards, status reports, and executive-ready summaries of accomplishments, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Review and challenge vendor estimates, delivery timelines, and proposed solutions for new integration work; communicate implementation options, cost, schedule, risk, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Drive tasks to completion by identifying root causes, engaging the right stakeholders, proposing practical solutions, and rolling up sleeves to remove blockers across technical, process, and organizational boundaries.
  • Continuously improve the OIC operating model by standardizing reusable patterns, monitoring, alerting, naming conventions, scheduling practices, documentation, environment management, and support handoffs.
  • Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed for production releases, critical incidents, cutover events, financial close cycles, and high-priority batch processing issues.
What You Will Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration delivery, with strong hands-on experience leading Oracle Integration Cloud implementations and production support for Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • Proven experience as an OIC lead, integration architect, or lead solution architect for Oracle ERP

  • Working knowledge of core Finance process areas such as AP, AR, GL/R2R, intercompany, payments, banking, projects/P2R, customers, vendors, and financial close/batch processing.
  • Experience managing production support, daily interface/batch monitoring, incident triage,
  • P1/P2 escalation, root-cause analysis, corrective/preventive action planning, and service owner sign-offs.
  • Strong ServiceNow experience, including change requests, expedited changes, incidents, problem records, access requests, SCTASKs, approvals, implementation plans, and post-implementation validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead onshore/offshore technical teams and managed-service partners while remaining hands-on enough to review designs, investigate issues, validate deployments, and guide technical resolution.
  • Ability to work with business users and IT teams to understand requirements, evaluate technical designs, create/review project and resource plans, and drive task execution to completion with appropriate reporting and escalation.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, release management, cutover planning, integration testing, regression testing, hypercare, and operational transition processes.
  • Solution-minded approach: do not just uncover problems; investigate, propose options, align stakeholders, and drive sustainable resolution.
