About This Role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Finance organization and support the preparation and filing of external financial reports for a publicly traded manufacturing company. This role will be responsible for preparing SEC filings, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, and supporting the quarterly and annual reporting processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with 10-K and 10-Q preparation, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, and external auditors.

What You Will Work On

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required disclosures.

• Assist with the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements and footnote disclosures.

• Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements and U.S. GAAP.

• Review and analyze financial results to support external reporting accuracy and completeness.

• Coordinate information requests and reporting timelines with internal stakeholders.

• Support external and internal audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.

• Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards.

• Maintain and enhance reporting processes, controls, and documentation related to financial reporting.

• Support SOX compliance efforts related to financial reporting controls.

• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 4+ years of experience in financial reporting, SEC reporting, public accounting, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing 10-K and 10-Q filings.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
