About This Role
As a Blackline Accounting Consultant, you will play a vital role in steering clients through a variety of intricate projects, ensuring strict compliance with accounting principles, practices, and procedures. The Blackline Accounting Consultant will be tasked with overseeing a seamless and timely month-end close process, as well as generating detailed financial statements and reports that align with client objectives and regulatory standards. 
What You Will Work On
  • Account Reconciliation Management: Oversee and manage the entire account reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of reconciled accounts.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within reconciliation workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work collaboratively with finance teams, management, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on reconciliation objectives.
  • Compliance and Controls: Ensure that reconciliation procedures comply with relevant accounting standards and internal controls, mitigating risks associated with financial discrepancies.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree of Accounting, Finance or related field 
  • CPA preferred
  • Ability to work onsite 3x weekly is required
  • Experience using Blackline is required
  • Experience reviewing balance sheet reconciliations required
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels and a strong client service orientation
  • Experience in a global company/accounting organization (large complex environment)
  • Accounting Manager level

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
  • Pay Range: $70-$90/hr.
