About This Role
As an Tax Manager Consultant, you will assist clients in optimizing and managing their tax functions. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in corporate tax, compliance, and advisory services. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing tax strategies, improving processes, and managing tax reporting for businesses of varying sizes and industries. As an RGP consultant, you will work with leadership teams to support tax-related decision-making and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

This opportunity requires an onsite presence in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. 
What You Will Work On
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies tailored to client needs, including managing risks, optimizing tax savings, and ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee and prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate entities, ensuring timely filing and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and improve existing tax processes, systems, and workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and tax reporting under US GAAP or IFRS, including ASC 740 reporting for public companies.
  • Provide support during tax audits, managing responses to inquiries and documenting positions taken on complex tax issues.
  • Offer guidance on the tax implications of various business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and international operations.
  • Support clients in implementing tax software and automating processes where needed.
  • Assist in upskilling internal teams by providing training and mentorship in tax best practices and regulatory changes.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • 4-plus years of experience with either a Big 4 Firm or Regional Accounting firm and/or a Fortune 500 company
  • Significant corporate tax experience, US Federal Income Tax and/or International Tax background
  • Able to research, analyze, and make conclusions regarding specifically assigned US tax issues with minimal supervision and the ability to work closely with groups within a corporate structure, including finance, legal, operations, etc.
