About This Role
The Cash Management and Trading Operations team is responsible for overseeing all aspects of cash flow, forecasting, liquidity management, and short-term investments. They roll into the Treasury Operations team and partner closely with Treasury Operations, Banking Solutions & M&A Operations, Cash Management, Trading & Investments Team, and Accounting
What You Will Work On
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage post-execution processes for internal trades in fixed income and foreign exchange, including trade allocations, confirmations, settlements, post-settlement activities, and position and cash reconciliations.
  • Once a trade is executed, the trader will input the trade with the executed price and collaborate with the Trading Operations desk to ensure all of the trading details are accurate and matched through the vendor systems.
  • Work with the counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies and escalate any exceptions to the Trading Desk to ensure all trades are matched by Trade Day.
  • Handle end-of-day processing, including pushing trade information to custodian banks or FX banks via trade files and notifying counterparties/banks of settlement amounts and dates.
  • Ensure accurate trade instructions and settlement checks, confirming all settlements are processed as expected.
  • Address any issues that go beyond the settlement date, such as interest claims or manual instructions.

What You Will Bring
Qualifications/Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience a public accounting firm or multi-national company
  • The ideal candidate will have more of a banking or sophisticated treasury operations background
  • Understanding of products such as ND Forward, FX option, mortgage backed security, how they trade & settle
  • Strong sense of urgency, with an understanding of daily deadlines and timelines 
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently 
  • Quick learner, able to adapt and ramp up with minimal guidance
  • A proactive communicator who isn’t afraid to ask questions and seek clarification

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $65hr.
