About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Reporting Manager for our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analytics and reporting within the healthcare sector, with a focus on supporting Medi-Cal Care Delivery Organization Operations. The role will involve utilizing tools such as Tableau, Epic, and Power BI to retrieve, analyze, and present data to inform key business decisions.
What You Will Work On
  • Lead and manage data analytics and reporting initiatives within the organization to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Medi-Cal Care Delivery Organization Operations teams to extract, retrieve, and analyze complex data sets from multiple sources.
  • Utilize Tableau, Epic, and Power BI to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that drive actionable insights.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve operational performance.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reporting, addressing any discrepancies or issues as they arise.
  • Support business analysts and other stakeholders by providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data extraction and report generation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data and reporting processes align with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Stay current with healthcare industry trends, especially within the Medi-Cal system, to ensure reporting methodologies are relevant and effective.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to improve their ability to access and interpret data reports.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data analytics and reporting, preferably within the healthcare or health plan industry.
  • Proven experience working with Tableau, Epic, and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Medi-Cal and health plan operations, with experience in healthcare data analysis.
  • Solid experience in data retrieval, business analysis, and working with large data sets from multiple sources.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $90-95
