About This Role
As a Financial Systems Consultant specializing in OneStream, you will be responsible for supporting the financial close process, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting, while maintaining and sometimes administering OneStream applications. This role leads process improvement initiatives, provides training to finance teams, and ensures timely, accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. As a consultant, you will translate business needs into functional solutions, ensure compliance with change control procedures, and drive operational excellence by optimizing financial systems and workflows.
What You Will Work On
  • Oversee and provide comprehensive support for the monthly financial close process, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting, while managing the OneStream platform for seamless operations.
  • Lead the maintenance and possible administration of OneStream, ensuring smooth application functionality, including security management, report generation, form input, and issue resolution.
  • Play a key role in preparing accurate financial reports for internal and external use, while driving continuous process improvements to optimize financial workflows.
  • Develop and implement training programs, ensuring users are well-versed in OneStream capabilities and financial system best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions, from concept through implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with change control procedures and standard operating protocols, maintaining system integrity through rigorous oversight and development of new system requirements.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support to end users, analyzing and resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining detailed documentation of problem resolutions.
  • Supervise system development and maintain financial controls, especially related to SQL databases, ensuring that all financial processes are effectively incorporated into system blueprints. 
What You Will Bring
  • Extensive experience working as a OneStream Administrator or a Financial Systems Analyst or Accounting and Finance professional with a focus on OneStream. 
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred. 
  • Extensive hands-on experience administering or working with OneStream or similar consolidation software, combined with strong financial acumen and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into effective, functional system solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment, effectively managing multiple priorities while collaborating seamlessly across functional teams.
  • Exceptional executive presence with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
