About This Role
As an M&A Integration Project Manager with RGP, you will take ownership of end-to-end integration activities for acquisitions of varying scales and complexities within the corporate development team of our global tech client. This role involves providing overall project leadership, managing specific workstreams, and developing and executing comprehensive project plans and strategies in collaboration with global stakeholders from both organizations.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the integrity and success of the integration plan. Key responsibilities include driving measurable progress toward defined goals, overseeing efficient project management practices, providing regular status reporting, and monitoring success metrics to track and communicate outcomes effectively.
What You Will Work On
  • Own and manage the functional integration project strategy, structure, process, standards and governance working in collaboration with key internal stakeholders to create detailed project plan; organize and direct the completion of complex integration transformation projects while managing risks and issues to minimize scope, budget, and schedule impacts.
  • Establish the overall integration project and portfolio milestones and ensure controlled linkage to driving tasks.
  • Day to day ownership of project delivery, proactively building trusted working relationships with functional leaders, business leaders, engineering and technology partners to drive alignment, increase collaboration and optimize project operations.
  • Ensure appropriate sponsorship and align stakeholders around initiative goals. Collaborate globally to influence key stakeholders on project scope/vision, solutions, budget, and schedule.
  • Identify risks, dependencies and issues across the project. Develop mitigation strategies and coordinate mitigation actions to meet the broader organization goals, milestones and objectives.
  • Establish communications cadence to ensure appropriate program governance. Facilitate weekly project team meetings to provide status on progress and milestone achievement.
  • Clearly communicate project strategy, updates, escalation of risks/issues to project stakeholders, levels of management, including executive leadership teams across the finance organization.
  • Proactively control the overall project schedule and manage discrepancies. Report potential slippages, analyze impact, devise solutions and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Collect lessons learned and ideas for continuous improvement as the project progresses.
  • Leverage data insights to measure and report project performance against plan

What You Will Bring
  • 15+years of project management experience leading complex acquisition integration and transformation initiatives in a global, fast-paced environment 
  • PMP Certification 
  • Experience in technology industry a MUST
  • Proven expertise in M&A and/or Acquisition Integration is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MBA a bonus
  • Knowledge of business transformation and project and program management approaches/ methodology, planning, execution, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills; as well as strong cross functional communication skills to drive alignment across the organization. Demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership skills, able to build credibility and lead without authority. 
  • They must be detailed, motivated, solution-oriented individual that can work well with internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels, and as needed. The ability to execute effectively while collaborating across teams and global locations will be key to success in this role.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to mitigate risk and manage interdependencies is critical as well as managing ambiguity and the ability to navigate through constant shifts in direction of projects and strategies.
  • Ability to execute against project plan, managing to deadlines, experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners across global time zones.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen ability to drive result

    • Pay Range: $100-110hr.
