About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Statutory Reporting Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and review of statutory financial statements and associated disclosures. This remote position requires a strong understanding of US Statutory accounting principles and the ability to perform thorough financial analysis.
What You Will Work On
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and associated disclosures and schedules, including P&C Annual Statement, Life and Accident and Health Annual Statement, and supplemental regulatory filings.
  • Assist with the preparation of US Statutory basis journal entries as needed.
  • Perform research around financial results through general ledger activity analysis.
  • Review the prepared work of Staff Accountants and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Assist with state regulatory filings and inquiries.
What You Will Bring
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Financial reporting experience required
  • Strong experience with US Statutory Accounting (P&C and/or L&H)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate financial reporting role

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $60-80 per hour
