Cash Receipts Coordinator - Irvine, California, United States - 7857 - RGP

About This Role

The Cash Receipts Coordinator ensures that RGP applies the cash payments from clients accurately and timely. Reconciles and processes cash receipts using multiple vendor/internal systems. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting. This is a hybrid position located in Irvine, CA.

What You Will Work On

Assist the Cash Specialist with timely and accurate cash receipt processing for North America
Process daily lockbox, wire and ACH, and intercompany payments
Enter cash batch totals on daily control log in an accurate and timely manner
Manage the Receivables email inbox and FreshService tickets (up to 75/day)
Sort and archive incoming remittance advices for EFT/ACH Client payments
Respond to general AR inquiries, W-9, and cash application requests
Assist with the research and analysis of unidentified items and payment discrepancies
Contact payees of unidentifiable payments to obtain proper remittance for application, or to refund duplicate or erroneous payments
Research, document, and address VMS discrepancies, utilizing supplier portals to obtain information to reconcile client payments to RGP invoicing
Partner with the Invoicing Department regarding credit/rebills and other invoicing issues and applications that relate to Accounts Receivable
Sort and distribute incoming correspondence received from Bank of America Lockbox Services
Perform other assigned tasks and duties as necessary to support the functions of the AR/Collections Department

What You Will Bring

High School Diploma; Some college-level coursework preferred
Strong customer service and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently, follow procedures and pay careful attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional environment
Proficient in MS Excel

What You Can Expect

All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors, including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
Base Pay Range: $46,400 – $58,000
Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation
