About This Role
As a Director of Payroll Consultant you will lead and stabilize payroll operations for a recently merged company. This role requires a strategic leader who can bring structure, efficiency, and cohesion to a complex payroll environment while managing a large team.

This opportunity requires a hybrid presence (up to 4 days) in Northeast Atlanta. 
What You Will Work On
  • Oversee payroll operations across the merged organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Utilize Workday and ADP expertise to streamline payroll processes and enhance system integration.
  • Provide strong leadership to a large payroll team, driving collaboration and performance improvements.
  • Address organizational challenges stemming from the merger by implementing clear processes and structure.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Serve as a change agent to unify teams, standardize workflows, and optimize payroll functions.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to align payroll operations with overall business goals.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 7+ years of experience with payroll software such as ADP, Ceridian, PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle, and/or Ultimate. Workday is required.
  • Proven experience in a payroll leadership role within a large, complex organization.
  • Expertise in Workday and ADP payroll systems.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a history of managing and developing high-performing payroll teams.
  • Experience leading payroll through organizational changes, such as mergers or acquisitions.
  • Ability to create and implement streamlined payroll processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Deep knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and best practices.
