About This Role
The Human Resource Senior Manager Consultant, Center of Excellence will lead the HR subfunctions of Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits), HR Information Systems (HRIS), Payroll and Training & Development. This role will manage the full employee lifecycle, change management and communications. Furthermore, this role will guide and support the team on recruiting, selecting, onboarding and retaining good talent, benefits management, HRIS management of ADP, employee and manager development, performance management, compensation structure and overall training needs for the organization.

What You Will Work On
• Manages all Centers of Excellence (COEs) HR subfunctions and collaborates with each HR subfunction leader to establish best practices for employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, benefits, goal setting, performance reviews, compensation, employee engagement and development, succession planning, offboarding, etc.
• Knows what good looks likes for every HR subfunction, establishes best practices for HR subfunctions and influences accordingly with leadership at each location
• Determines effective change management practices and leads the changes for each HR subfunction based on where the subfunction is in their HR-good-practices journey
• Assists with recruiting for critical roles when needed of highly skilled people who fit into the company culture
• Works with HR Director to establish and executive an effective Compensation strategy, structure and overall process
• Helps to create guidelines and consistent practices around Leave of Absences (LOAs) and Worker compensation (WC) processes.
• Assists the current team to review current payroll processes to ensure compliance across all 50 states, streamline, simplify where applicable.
• Partners with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to establish effective manager development processes
• Creates Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) metrics and establishes a plan to execute successfully to ensure employee engagement and culture of inclusion
• Partners with HR Director, executive team and HR peers
• Operates within the core values of respect and care for others.

What You Will Bring

• Ten (10) plus years’ experience in Human Resources; experience preferred
• Executive presence and ability to present insights and data in a compelling way to influence decision-making
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail essential
• Strong change management and communication skills, both written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, able to foster teamwork, establish and build trusting relationships, proven experience leading teams
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Demonstrated success with conducting effective investigations to successfully resolve matters
• Time management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of HRIS systems
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required, Master’s degree preferred
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or similar strongly preferred

Ability to work onsite five days a week in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
