About This Role
As a Financial Reporting Consultant, you will address clients’ critical SEC and other industry specific financial reporting needs by assisting with milestone projects and/or vital interim needs. 
What You Will Work On
  • Lead clients through SEC reporting (including 10-K, 10-Q, S-1) and other filings, perform complex analyses on the client’s financial statements and operating results related to the preparation of periodic filings with the SEC (primarily Forms 10-K and 10-Q), including footnotes and Management’s Discussion and Analyses 
  • Monitor new accounting standards, provide analyses, and drive implementation to comply with GAAP, FASB, and SEC regulations 
  • Draft and review complex sets of financial statements with disclosures, prepare consolidated schedules and analyze results on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis 
  • Support other SEC filings or investor communications including press releases, conference call scripts, investor conference materials, registration statements and/or proxy statements 
  • Work closely with external and internal auditors
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree of Finance or Accounting required 
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred 
  • 5-plus years of experience in an external reporting or technical accounting role with a large multinational corporation and/or Big Four or large regional accounting firm 
  • Strong understanding of FASB, US GAAP, and SEC rules and regulations 
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization with a strong attention to detail
