About This Role
RGP has a Financial Services Client seeking a skilled professional to support the Finance Data Governance - Attestation Program. THIS LONG-TERM CONSULTING ROLE REQUIRES HYBRID ONSITE 3 DAYS PER WEEK IN MANHATTAN, NY. This role involves leveraging proven experience in Data Governance, Audit, and Controls, along with expertise in IT Risk, to operationalize Data Attestation policies, procedures, and methodologies. The goal is to ensure alignment with industry best practices and BCBS 239 guidelines.
What You Will Work On
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan and stakeholder list.
  • Discovery Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify gaps, prioritize opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Platform Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend data attestation platforms.
  • Industry Best Practices: Research and recommend industry-leading practices, prioritizing opportunities and actions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain data attestation artifacts and a standard language package.
  • Training Development: Develop initial training considerations and a training roadmap for attestation adoption.
  • Framework Refinement: Refine the data attestation framework for operational implementation.
  • Requirements Definition: Define business and technology requirements for the attestation tool.

  • Agreed Project Plan & Stakeholder List: A clear and agreed-upon project plan and stakeholder list.
  • Discovery Assessment: A comprehensive assessment report highlighting gaps, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Platform Evaluation: An evaluation report of data attestation platforms with recommendations.
  • Industry Practices: A report on industry-leading practices with prioritized opportunities and actions.
  • Attestation Artifacts: Complete and accurate data attestation artifacts.
  • Standard Language Package: A standardized language package for data attestation.
  • Training Considerations: Initial training plans for attestation adoption.
  • Framework Refinement: A refined data attestation framework ready for operational implementation.
  • Requirements Documentation: Detailed business and technology requirements for the attestation tool.
  • 1Training Roadmap: A comprehensive training roadmap for attestation adoption.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's or other relevant Advanced Degree.
  • Proven experience within Financial Services or Banking companies including Data Governance Roles supporting Finance and Regulatory Reporting or Regulatory Compliance.
  • Proven experience in Data Governance, Audit, and Controls.
  • Expertise in IT Risk management.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices and BCBS 239 guidelines.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

What You Can Expect

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: IDEAL HOURLY PAY RATE RANGE IS $65-95 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.  ROLE REQUIRES HYBRID ONSITE 3 DAYS PER WEEK IN NY, NY.
