About This Role
RGP has a Client in Northbrook, Illinois who is looking for a Senior Accountant and Consolidation Accounting Consultant to support the General Accounting function with a focus on Financial Accounting Consolidation and Financial Reporting, including Corporate Accounting, Account Reconciliation and Financial Statement Analysis. NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES 3 DAYS ONSITE AT CLIENT OFFICE LOCATION IN NORTHBROOK, ILLINOIS.

What You Will Work On
This Senior Accountant & Consolidation Accounting Consultant Role will have responsibilities including the following:
  • perform and support general accounting duties (analysis, journal entries, financial statement and account consolidation and related analysis) with a focus on Consolidation Accounting and Financial Reporting according to the financial close cycles (monthly, quarterly)
  • perform balance sheet analysis
  • perform GL account and Financial Statement Line Item reconciliation
  • support Corporate Accounting activities
  • perform transactional level work and analysis
  • draft and update desktop procedures and training materials
  • draft and maintain process flows and narratives.


What You Will Bring
  • solid Consolidation Accounting and Financial Reporting experience is a must
  • experience operating in SAP Accounting Software environments is highly preferred
  • experience utilizing Consolidation Tools
  • strong orientation to detail
  • team-oriented and collaborative
  •  ability and willingness to work additional hours over 40, as needed, including some Saturdays, to meet monthly and quarterly close deadlines.
What You Can Expect
  • Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.   
  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: IDEAL HOURLY PAY RATE IS $55-75 PER HOUR, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE. NOTE: ROLE REQUIRES 3-4 DAYS ONSITE AT CLIENT OFFICE LOCATION IN NORTHBROOK, ILLINOIS.
