About This Role
RGP has a Financial Services client looking for a Workday Financial Systems Administration Consultant to be responsible for system and improvement in the Processes and Technologies.  The role supports Financial Accounting and Planning & Analysis teams within the Finance organization and works closely with these teams to effectively gather and understand the requirements, manage and implement the changes to Workday Financial System and other directly impacted Financial Systems. THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE.



What You Will Work On
As a Workday Financials System Administrator Consultant, you will:
  • Coordinate heavily with the Financial Systems & Transformation team and Lead collaboration with functional leads of Workday Financial functions (e.g. Suppliers, Customers, Business Assets, Procurement, Banking, Projects, General Ledger).  Focus of this role is on Financial Accounting System to analyze, design, develop, test and implement foundational data, business processes, reports and other configuration required to enhance and maintain the system and resolve issues. 
  • Document and validate business requirements with end-users and model solutions for complex business requirements to be addressed with automated solutions.
  • Perform day-to-day Workday maintenance functions, including troubleshooting with prompt issue resolutions.
  • Manage foundational Data in Workday including: maintaining proper controls over creation of data, setting up hierarchies, and ensuring data has the appropriate attributes.
  • Design, build, test and deploy Workday reports using Matrix, Advanced and Composite reporting, including the use of Workday Worksheets as needed.
  • Work proactively with the various teams to identify and define top-quality deliverables, potential risks and issues that may impact the outcomes along with process improvement opportunities, including Workday releases and updates.
  • Perform Project Lead related tasks to implement, test and configure workday for specific functional areas processes. Ability to lead sessions and configuration workshops.
  • Create and maintain integrations to and from the Workday financials (including Workday Studio and WD Extend).
  • Lead process walkthroughs with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Audit teams on functional processes, for each functional module. 
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree or Other Advanced Degree in Relevant Area such as Finance or Technology.  
  • Proven Financial Systems and Financial Process experience. Financial System Administration Skills and Financial Data Management (FDM) Skills. 
  • Minimum 5-8 years of work experience supporting Workday Financials as a System Administrator or Business Analyst with System Administration experience is a requirementExperience with Workday business process, security and tenant-wide configurations is required. Experience with WD Studio and WD Extend preferred 
  • Demonstrated success supporting functional groups (Suppliers, Customer, Business Assets, Procurement, Projects, and General ledger).  
  • Experience troubleshooting, testing and updating various Financial Reports such as Cash Flow and Revenue Reports. 
  • Experience managing foundational Data and business process configurations, including report writing. 
  • Knowledge of Financial Consolidation and Reporting and Financial Planning and Analysis is required.
  • Finance, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Audit concepts is a must.

  • Pay Range: IDEAL HOURLY PAY IS $70-95 PER HOUR.  ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE.
