About This Role
The Senior Manager, Internal Audit & Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) Testing is a pivotal role responsible for leading a team of ICFR IT and business control testers. This position involves the review and execution of IT and business testing procedures on behalf of the ICFR program. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Director, Internal Audit, and requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively present audit issues of varying complexity to senior management across various divisions.
What You Will Work On
  • Lead IT and business control testing for the organization's ICFR program, including reviewing testing procedures and working papers, and executing testing.
  • Manage a team of up to 5 ICFR testers.
  • Ensure internal controls are efficient and effective to mitigate IT and business risks to an acceptable level.
  • Protect assets and ensure significant financial and management information is accurate, reliable, and timely.
What You Will Bring
  • Undergraduate degree with emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related business field. CA/CPA/CGA/CMA and Certified Information Systems Audit Designation (CISA) are required.
  • Minimum of 10 years executing and leading relevant internal audit engagements or C-SOX/ICFR programs, preferably in the Financial Services or Pension Fund industry. Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Expert knowledge of best practices for internal controls, information system risks, ITGCs, and EUC controls.
  • Strong technical audit and financial skills with a comprehensive understanding of Internal Auditing Standards, GAAP, C-SOX, COSO.
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and knowledge of Capital and Private Markets, Investment, or related risk management/compliance/operations functions.
  • Proficiency in IT applications and systems such as Oracle, SAP, PowerBI, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, partner, and maintain cross-departmental and intra-divisional relationships.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, negotiating, and reasoning skills.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and professionalism.
