About This Role
A RGP Major Financial Services Client in NY, NY is looking for a Finance and Regulatory Data Governance Consultant. THIS ROLE REQUIRES ONSITE THREE (3) DAYS PER WEEK IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA.  This Consultant will come from a Finance and Regulatory Reporting (Regulatory Capital, Liquidity Risk) background and can analyze data elements to understand how they flow to specific Balance Sheet and Regulatory Reports.
What You Will Work On
This Data Governance Consulting role is part of the RGP Client's Finance Data Governance Function, which ensures compliance with the Enterprise Data Governance Policy including appropriate accountability model and processes for data asset management, metadata management, data quality and issue resolution. Responsibilities include the following: 
  • Deliver data quality scorecards, dashboards, analytical reports and data attestation packages for all processes in scope.
  • Provide insight into root-cause of data quality issues and assist in remediation of Audit and Regulatory feedback.
  • Recommend strategic improvements to data assessment process and make necessary enhancements to data analytical and data quality tools.
  • Provide ongoing support for Client's current Regulatory Reporting needs via existing platforms, working with upstream data providers, downstream business partners and related technologies.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's or other relevant Advanced Degree (Finance, Technology).
  • Financial Services (Banking, Capital Markets and/or Payments) Industry Experience is required.
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience working within Regulatory Reporting frameworks in particular including around Liquidity reporting (FR 2052A, LCRs, NSFRs) and Capital Reporting ( FRY 14, Y9Cs).  E.g. Functional Regulatory Reporting or Finance Experience and/or Data Governance and Reporting Automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect business requirements and use them to guide implementation of a technical solution.
  • Experience defining and implementing data governance and data quality programs is preferred.
  • Experience working with data governance, metadata, and data lineage tools such as, Collibra, MANTA is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile or SAFE project methodologies
  • Strong relationship skills and communication is essential as this Consultant will partner extensively with Business process owners, Technologies, and Enterprise Data Governance.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, ability to manage multiple assignments and projects concurrently.
  • Strong excel and other technical skills, good experience with SQL is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Pay Range: IDEAL HOURLY PAY RATE IS $60-75 PER HOUR, COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.  NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES ONSITE THREE (3) DAYS AT CLIENT SITE IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA.
