About This Role
As an Interim Plant Controller Consultant, you will help our client manage day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on environments and can quickly integrate into existing processes to drive accurate reporting and financial support. You'll work closely with onsite leadership while also partnering with corporate teams to ensure seamless consolidation and reporting. Your ability to step in with minimal oversight will be key to success. Daily onsite presence is preferred at the client site in McDonough, GA.
What You Will Work On
  • Oversee all plant-level finance activities and serve as the local finance point of contact
  • Support the monthly close process, especially around data consolidation via Tagetik
  • Partner with the Site Manager, Sales, and Ops to manage budgets and forecasts
  • Leverage existing processes and templates to build out robust management reporting
  • Coordinate with the shared services team on AP/AR activities
  • Contribute to FP&A efforts, including building charts and visuals for internal reporting
  • Navigate and help improve a challenging consolidation process
  • Utilize NetSuite for financial data management and reporting
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in plant or site controllership, ideally within a manufacturing or storage/distribution environment
  • Strong understanding of financial operations, FP&A, and month-end close processes
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Tagetik (or similar ERP/consolidation systems)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a small onsite team
  • A hands-on mindset with a willingness to dive into the details
  • Ability to be onsite at client site in McDonough, GA
