About This Role
This Loan Operations Consultant will ensure loans are processed correctly. This consultant will have extensive experience and knowledge of commercial loans, have a transactional services background, know the structures of the deals, and has the ability to execute. This team helps out with the entire lifecycle of the loan and works with the Capital Markets teams, documents, agreements, terms, tracking loans through various lifecycle events, and does analytics on a monthly basis across the portfolio.
What You Will Work On
  • Partnering with investment professionals and Finance teams based in New York and London to execute new investment transactions and financing strategies.
  • Supporting ongoing project initiatives to scale finance infrastructure and facilitate the growth of the business.
  • Coaching and overseeing aspects of the offshore operations team and dedicated portfolio company servicing and onboarding team.
  • Coordinating investment funding activities with the asset management team, including treasury, debt financing, and foreign currency considerations.
  • Liaising with asset managers and the servicing and onboarding team to validate monthly interest income calculations, funding/paydown activities, and waterfall cash remittances.
  • Review monthly and quarterly investment portfolio analytics for senior management.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline (CFA and/or CPA is a plus).
  • 6-10 years of experience in public accounting, transaction services, private equity funds, consulting, or other relevant real estate debt roles.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment requiring the execution of transactions as well as projects and initiatives in support of a rapidly growing business.
  • A self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is required.

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  
  • Pay Range: $80-90/hr (DOE)
