About This Role
As a Senior Director, Talent, you will serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor—leading the end-to-end talent management lifecycle across assigned clients and industries. This player-coach role is uniquely designed to combine talent acquisition and talent management, blending operational excellence with strategic leadership. You will manage a team of talent professionals, balancing tactical execution with thoughtful oversight. This is a highly visible and collaborative role requiring strong business acumen, communication, and relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder groups.
What You Will Work On
  • Lead and execute full-cycle talent strategies across designated clients, industries, and functions in Mexico/LATAM.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of talent professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Act as a player/coach—balancing team leadership with direct responsibility for complex engagements and key accounts.
  • Partner with Sales and Talent leadership to develop and execute region-specific growth strategies.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, driving talent delivery for high-value opportunities.
  • Champion best practices in talent acquisition, pipeline development, consultant engagement, and retention.
  • Provide coaching and performance management for assigned consultants, including issue resolution in partnership with HR.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Operations, and internal delivery teams.
  • Lead or contribute to enterprise-level talent initiatives, ensuring strong execution and alignment with global objectives.
  • Identify and refine operational inefficiencies and implement aligned, scalable processes that support sustainable growth.
  • Navigate and tactfully manage expectations from multiple stakeholders, aligning deliverables with realistic and achievable goals.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and talent management, ideally within the professional services industry.
  • Demonstrated success as a player-coach: balancing leadership with hands-on execution in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience at Big Four firms, other large consulting companies, boutique executive search firms, or professional staffing firms—bringing a blend of structure, creativity, and entrepreneurial energy.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset, sound decision-making skills, and ability to act as a strategic advisor and trusted business partner.
  • Expertise in full-cycle recruiting, competency-based interviewing, consultant retention, and conflict resolution.
  • Proven ability to manage and scale processes while maintaining agility in a dynamic business environment.
  • Deep understanding of stakeholder management, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience coaching and developing consultants and internal teams, driving performance management, and resolving issues in collaboration with HR.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and cultivating long-term internal and external relationships.
  • Insight into trends and best practices shaping the professional services industry.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Strong professional network in the Mexico City market and ability to attract top talent through relationships and reputation.
  • Must be located within a commutable distance to the RGP Mexico City office and available to work onsite 2–3 days per week.
